10th Annual TBG Pub Crawl

The 10th Annual TBG Pub Crawl, a one-day benefit for the Ted Everidge Memorial Fund, will take place in Boston on Saturday, June 3, 2017.

The multiple-bar event will see some changes in 2017 as Our House East is closed for the day, so we cannot end our event there like we have the past few years. But, don't worry. We've added a new spot to the mix... The Mission Bar and Grill. Because of the change, we will actually be reversing the direction of the crawl as we get things underway at Conor Larkins, then head to Punters Pub and The Squealing Pig, before landing at our final destination, The Mission. Please be sure to check our Facebook page to confirm the official schedule.

With the growing number of participants each spring, the pub crawl has evolved into one of the best days of the year for all that attend. Attendees young and old come back annually to partake in a day that features great people, a few beverages, live music and more.

Tickets to attend the pub crawl are $20/each and can be purchased online (paypal to info@kjcardinal.com or venmo to kjcardinal) or by mailing a check made payable to "K.J. Cardinal" to:

K.J. Cardinal
PO Box 432
Farmington, NH  03835

Drinks are not included in the ticket price as all proceeds benefit the Ted Everidge Memorial Fund.

If you cannot attend but would still like to make a donation to support the cause, then please feel free to do so. We appreciate the continued support year-after-year and hope to once again raise the bar!

Please feel free to email kj@packnetwork.com with any questions.

Schedule set for 6th Annual TBG Pub Crawl

The 6th Annual TBG Pub Crawl schedule is set and it's all about getting back to the roots of the crawl.

We have dabbled with a lengthier schedule over the years and tried adding a new bar to the mix last year, but everyone seems to have the best time at these four bars. In all honesty, it's only fitting since these are the bars that we would go to with Ted in college.

6th ANNUAL TBG PUB CRAWL SCHEDULE
TimeLocationAddress
12:00 - 1:15 p.m.The Squealing Pig134 Smith St.
1:30 - 2:30 p.m.Punter's Pub450 Huntington Ave.
2:45 - 4:15 p.m.Conor Larkin's329 Huntington Ave.
4:30 - 7:00 p.m.Our House East52 Gainsborough St.

For those newbies to the crawl, it's good to point out that the food at The Squealing Pig is amazing. A lot of people get lunch there (not included) so they don't start drinking on an empty stomach. The Pig actually opens at 11 a.m., so feel free to arrive a little early if you wish.

After The Pig, we head to Punter's Pub. Affectionately known as the stop where the crawl officially turns the corner, Punter's is proudly one of the countries top dive bars. If The Pig is the stop on the crawl where you eat, then Punter's is where you drink... so be prepared.

The hour at Punter's flies by and then we're off to Conor Larkin's. A little walk down Huntington brings us to Conor's. We are hopeful to have appetizers available, but no direct confirmation on this yet. Conor's also boasts Beer Pong tables... if anyone wants to organize a little 8-team tourney, then let KJ know when you arrive as we currently aren't planning an official tourney like we have done in year's past.

The final and favorite stop of the crawl is Our House East. Kim Cardinal & Mike Lee will provide live entertainment, while the fine folks at Our House will once again donate a solid spread of free food for all to enjoy. There is an event after the crawl that is taking place in the back bar at Our House, so at 7 p.m. we will migrate to the front bar to give the staff time to clean things out.

Please be sure to text KJ (617-216-7639) if you have any troubles finding any of these places on Saturday. We are looking forward to our favorite day of the year to commemorate one of our favorite people of all time, Teddy Ballgame. Keep Calm and Pub Crawl!

5th Annual Crawl set to dominate

Details for this Saturday's 5th Annual TBG Pub Crawl are officially set... and, we are confident that this will be our best crawl ever!

If you are attending the event, please be sure to RSVP on our facebook event page by clicking here.

Over the past few years, we've reduced the number of bars to four, but this year we are working a new establishment into the mix to get us up to five bars and we have a lots of great events planned throughout the day.

Here's the full schedule...

5th ANNUAL TBG PUB CRAWL SCHEDULE
TimeLocationAddress
12:00 - 1:15 p.m.The Squealing Pig134 Smith St.
1:30 - 2:30 p.m.Punter's Pub450 Huntington Ave.
2:45 - 4:15 p.m.Conor Larkin's329 Huntington Ave.
4:30 - 6:30 p.m.Our House East52 Gainsborough St.
6:45 - 8:00 p.m.Symphony 88 Westland Ave.

Here are more details on each stop of the pub crawl...

The Squealing Pig (12:00 - 1:15 p.m.)
Located in the shadows of Back Bay Manor, where Ted lived in college with K.J., Matt, Jason, Moody and Pete, The Squealing Pig is the perfect starting point for the crawl. The food at The Pig is fantastic too, so feel free to start the day off right by getting a bite to eat... God knows you need a good base before a full day of drinking. Also, the bar actually opens at 11 a.m., so don't let us stop you from arriving early... we all know Teddy loved a good drink in the morning.

Punter's Pub (1:30 - 2:30 p.m.)
One of America's Best Dive Bars, Punter's continues to reign as the crowd favorite of the pub crawl. Maybe it's the cheap beers and sticky floors, but we think it's because people start feeding the juke box and the beers get pretty slippier. We fully anticipate Punter's to once again be the stop on the crawl when everyone puts their directional on and turns the corner.

Conor Larkin's (2:45 - 4:15 p.m.)
If Punter's is where the crawl turns the corner, Conors may be where it puts the pedal to the medal. We can probably attribute this to three things: the first stop with free apps on the crawl, the best bartender on the crawl (Matt) and beer pong. Last year Conor's hosted the inaugural TBG Beer Pong Tournament and it was a runaway success. Despite sandbagger Hilary carrying Sleepy to the victory, the tourney was well-received, so of course it's back once again.

If you want to partake in pong, be sure to show up early and register with KJ at The Squealing Pig as the 16 spots will be filled by 12:30 p.m. This year, teams will be pulled at random and Conor Larkin's beer pong house rules are in effect. Prizes will be awarded to the winning duo.

Our House East (4:30 - 6:30 p.m.)
The most gracious host during the pub crawl, Jack is welcoming us back to Our House East with open arms and giving us carte blanche access to the back bar yet again. This year, we will be treated to the soothing sounds of Kim Cardinal on his acoustic guitar as well as Maria LeClair's new group, Breaking Monotony.

We also have a special presentation that will take place at Our House this year, so don't miss out on this stop as it's definitely the "home" of the pub crawl.

Symphony 8 (6:45 - 8 p.m.)
When Symphony 8 emailed to become part of the pub crawl and dangled the carrot of free appetizers and a flip cup tourney, we jumped at the opportunity. Sure, Ted never frequented this new establishment, but he was a sucker for a mean game of flip cup, so it is a welcomed addition.

The inaugural TBG Flip Cup Tournament will consist of eight four-man teams. If you'd like to participate, be sure to show up early and register with KJ at The Squealing Pig to nab one of the 32 spots. Teams will be pulled at random and prizes will be awarded to the winning foursome.

While the crawl officially ends at 8 p.m., the night is usually just beginning for most. So, feel free to stick around at Symphony 8 or venture in smaller groups through the city.

If you are in the city and have troubles finding your way to a pub crawl bar either jump in a cab or call K.J. (617-216-7639) for assistance.

Lastly, we'd just like to remind all attendees to keep in mind throughout the day why we are on the crawl... and that's to remember the amazing guy that Ted was and to help raise money for Logan and Faith. So, come ready to share your favorite memories of TBG and throw back a few cool ones in his honor. Cheers!

Pub Crawl details finalized

Details for Saturday's 4th Annual TBG Pub Crawl are officially set.

With the growing number of attendees, we have elected once again to stick to a handful of Northeastern area bars that we frequented with Ted. The crawl gets underway at noon at The Squealing Pig and concludes at Our House East at 7 p.m.

Here's the full schedule...

4th ANNUAL TBG PUB CRAWL SCHEDULE
Time Location Address
12:00 - 1:30 p.m. The Squealing Pig 134 Smith St.
1:45 - 2:45 p.m. Punter's Pub 450 Huntington Ave.
3:00 - 4:30 p.m. Conor Larkin's 329 Huntington Ave.
4:45 - 7:00 p.m. Our House East 52 Gainsborough St.

While the crawl officially ends at 7 p.m., the night is usually just beginning for most. So, feel free to venture in smaller groups through the city at that time.

Here are more details on each stop of the pub crawl...

The Squealing Pig (12:00 - 1:30 p.m.)
Located in the shadows of Back Bay Manor, where Ted lived in college with K.J., Matt, Jason, Moody and Pete, The Squealing Pig is the perfect starting point for the crawl. The food at The Pig is fantastic too, so feel free to start the day off right by getting a bite to eat.

Punter's Pub (1:45 - 2:45 p.m.)
Recently named one of America's Best Dive Bars, Punter's is always a crowd favorite. Cheap beers, sticky floors and a juke box... what else does a crawler need??? (Note: Punter's is officially the stop where the entire pub crawl turns the corner every year, so drink up.)

Conor Larkin's (3:00 - 4:30 p.m.)
It's something old and something new at Conor Larkin's this year. Once again, free appetizers will be available for pub crawl attendees, while we will also host the inaugural TBG Beer Pong Tournament. We are still working out the final details on the tourney with the staff at Conor's, so be sure to register with K.J. on Saturday if you'd like to participate. It's a first-come, first-served basis and you must sign up in person. Prizes will be awarded to the winning team.

Our House East (4:45 - 7:00 p.m.)
For the second-straight year, Our House East will be the last official stop of the pub crawl. With free pizza and appetizers, promotional beverage girls and live music (provided by Kim Cardinal and Mike Lee), you won't want to miss Our House East.

Red Sox Tickets
Don't forget to purchase your Red Sox raff le tickets on the pub crawl. What better way to cap off your 2011 TBG Pub Crawl weekend than by watching the Boston Red Sox take on the Oakland Athletics from box seats at Fenway Park on Sunday, June 5 at 1:35 p.m. Raff le tickets are $5/each or five for $10.

If you are in the city and have troubles finding your way to a pub crawl bar, feel free to call K.J. Cardinal (617-216-7639) for assistance. Once again, the weather looks as if it's going to cooperate nicely on Saturday (mostly sunny, highs in the low 70s), so it should be another perfect day for the pub crawl.

Cheers!

TBG Soiree

by Tiffany George

A very good friend, Ted Michael Everidge, tragically passed away on March 1, 2008 after being involved in a fatal motorcycle crash. Ted left behind his wife Brandi and two adorable children, Logan and Faith, who were 6 and 3 years old at the time. Ted was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He was the kind of person to drop everything to lend you a hand, and to then make you feel as though it was you who had helped him. He loved life, worked hard, and sincerely felt happy about the goodness in the lives of others.

I have wanted to do something to benefit Ted's children for the past 2 years. I think of Ted all of the time, whether it is when I see a helicopter fly over head, reminisce about high school math or listen to a classic Springsteen song. And while I am happy to remember Ted, I wanted to do something more, and I think that a lot of people feel the same way. Ted was a hard-working, selfless, genuine friend who deserves to be honored, and this is my small contribution to that end.

I finally thought of this idea to basically have a party in his name, with the proceeds going to his children. I contacted the Rochester Elks who are generously donating the hall for the benefit, and then I sought out my favorite DJ, Tom Pomeroy, to request his services for the night. Everything fell into place and now we are on to publicizing the event.

The evening of Friday, November 19th will start out with a dessert bar, a cash bar and time to mingle with other guests. The raffle items will be introduced and shortly thereafter the dancing will begin. If you have questions on the specifics, please email me at t_george12@hotmail.com.

Here are the details for the night:

TBG Soiree

Where: Rochester Elks Lodge

When: Friday, November 19th

Time: 7 - 11 p.m.

Tickets are $20 per person in advance, or $25 at the door. We will also have various prizes up for raffle at the event, as well as a 50/50 raffle

Here are some great ways that you can help:

1. Purchase your tickets at the door

2. Spread the word!!! Print this flyer to promote the event to friends, family, and the community

3. Sign up to donate a dessert for the dessert bar. Please email Tiffany at t_george12@hotmail.com to let her know what you plan to bring!

4. Sign up to donate a gift basket or certificate for the raffles!

Thank you so much for considering! We look forward to seeing you there!

Memorial Fund Tops $2500

The Ted Everidge Memorial Fund has topped the $2500 mark, so thanks to all that have made such generous contributions to such a great cause.

Raising over $600 on the 1st Annual TBG Pub Crawl helped catapult the tally from nearly $2000 to over $2500.

If you're still interested in making a donation, feel free to send your contribution to the Ted Everidge Memorial Fund. Please make checks payable to The Ted Everidge Memorial Fund and send to:
