With the growing number of attendees, we have elected once again to stick to a handful of Northeastern area bars that we frequented with Ted. The crawl gets underway at noon at The Squealing Pig and concludes at Our House East at 7 p.m.
Here's the full schedule...
4th ANNUAL TBG PUB CRAWL SCHEDULE | ||
---|---|---|
Time | Location | Address |
12:00 - 1:30 p.m. | The Squealing Pig | 134 Smith St. |
1:45 - 2:45 p.m. | Punter's Pub | 450 Huntington Ave. |
3:00 - 4:30 p.m. | Conor Larkin's | 329 Huntington Ave. |
4:45 - 7:00 p.m. | Our House East | 52 Gainsborough St. |
While the crawl officially ends at 7 p.m., the night is usually just beginning for most. So, feel free to venture in smaller groups through the city at that time.
Here are more details on each stop of the pub crawl...
The Squealing Pig (12:00 - 1:30 p.m.)
Located in the shadows of Back Bay Manor, where Ted lived in college with K.J., Matt, Jason, Moody and Pete, The Squealing Pig is the perfect starting point for the crawl. The food at The Pig is fantastic too, so feel free to start the day off right by getting a bite to eat.
Punter's Pub (1:45 - 2:45 p.m.)
Recently named one of America's Best Dive Bars, Punter's is always a crowd favorite. Cheap beers, sticky floors and a juke box... what else does a crawler need??? (Note: Punter's is officially the stop where the entire pub crawl turns the corner every year, so drink up.)
Conor Larkin's (3:00 - 4:30 p.m.)
It's something old and something new at Conor Larkin's this year. Once again, free appetizers will be available for pub crawl attendees, while we will also host the inaugural TBG Beer Pong Tournament. We are still working out the final details on the tourney with the staff at Conor's, so be sure to register with K.J. on Saturday if you'd like to participate. It's a first-come, first-served basis and you must sign up in person. Prizes will be awarded to the winning team.
Our House East (4:45 - 7:00 p.m.)
For the second-straight year, Our House East will be the last official stop of the pub crawl. With free pizza and appetizers, promotional beverage girls and live music (provided by Kim Cardinal and Mike Lee), you won't want to miss Our House East.
Red Sox Tickets
Don't forget to purchase your Red Sox raff le tickets on the pub crawl. What better way to cap off your 2011 TBG Pub Crawl weekend than by watching the Boston Red Sox take on the Oakland Athletics from box seats at Fenway Park on Sunday, June 5 at 1:35 p.m. Raff le tickets are $5/each or five for $10.
If you are in the city and have troubles finding your way to a pub crawl bar, feel free to call K.J. Cardinal (617-216-7639) for assistance. Once again, the weather looks as if it's going to cooperate nicely on Saturday (mostly sunny, highs in the low 70s), so it should be another perfect day for the pub crawl.
Lastly, we'd just like to remind all attendees to keep in mind throughout the day why we are on the crawl... and that's to remember the amazing guy that Ted was and to help raise money for Logan and Faith. So, come ready to share your favorite memories of TBG and throw back a few cool ones in his honor. Cheers!

Once again, I would like to thank you KJ for putting on this very worthwhile event. I am so proud of you. I'm sure Ted would be proud too. Love you, Mom
