5th Annual Crawl set to dominate

Details for this Saturday's 5th Annual TBG Pub Crawl are officially set... and, we are confident that this will be our best crawl ever!

If you are attending the event, please be sure to RSVP on our facebook event page by clicking here.

Over the past few years, we've reduced the number of bars to four, but this year we are working a new establishment into the mix to get us up to five bars and we have a lots of great events planned throughout the day.

Here's the full schedule...

Here are more details on each stop of the pub crawl...

The Squealing Pig (12:00 - 1:15 p.m.)
Located in the shadows of Back Bay Manor, where Ted lived in college with K.J., Matt, Jason, Moody and Pete, The Squealing Pig is the perfect starting point for the crawl. The food at The Pig is fantastic too, so feel free to start the day off right by getting a bite to eat... God knows you need a good base before a full day of drinking. Also, the bar actually opens at 11 a.m., so don't let us stop you from arriving early... we all know Teddy loved a good drink in the morning.

Punter's Pub (1:30 - 2:30 p.m.)
One of America's Best Dive Bars, Punter's continues to reign as the crowd favorite of the pub crawl. Maybe it's the cheap beers and sticky floors, but we think it's because people start feeding the juke box and the beers get pretty slippier. We fully anticipate Punter's to once again be the stop on the crawl when everyone puts their directional on and turns the corner.

Conor Larkin's (2:45 - 4:15 p.m.)
If Punter's is where the crawl turns the corner, Conors may be where it puts the pedal to the medal. We can probably attribute this to three things: the first stop with free apps on the crawl, the best bartender on the crawl (Matt) and beer pong. Last year Conor's hosted the inaugural TBG Beer Pong Tournament and it was a runaway success. Despite sandbagger Hilary carrying Sleepy to the victory, the tourney was well-received, so of course it's back once again.

If you want to partake in pong, be sure to show up early and register with KJ at The Squealing Pig as the 16 spots will be filled by 12:30 p.m. This year, teams will be pulled at random and Conor Larkin's beer pong house rules are in effect. Prizes will be awarded to the winning duo.

Our House East (4:30 - 6:30 p.m.)
The most gracious host during the pub crawl, Jack is welcoming us back to Our House East with open arms and giving us carte blanche access to the back bar yet again. This year, we will be treated to the soothing sounds of Kim Cardinal on his acoustic guitar as well as Maria LeClair's new group, Breaking Monotony.

We also have a special presentation that will take place at Our House this year, so don't miss out on this stop as it's definitely the "home" of the pub crawl.

Symphony 8 (6:45 - 8 p.m.)
When Symphony 8 emailed to become part of the pub crawl and dangled the carrot of free appetizers and a flip cup tourney, we jumped at the opportunity. Sure, Ted never frequented this new establishment, but he was a sucker for a mean game of flip cup, so it is a welcomed addition.

The inaugural TBG Flip Cup Tournament will consist of eight four-man teams. If you'd like to participate, be sure to show up early and register with KJ at The Squealing Pig to nab one of the 32 spots. Teams will be pulled at random and prizes will be awarded to the winning foursome.

While the crawl officially ends at 8 p.m., the night is usually just beginning for most. So, feel free to stick around at Symphony 8 or venture in smaller groups through the city.

If you are in the city and have troubles finding your way to a pub crawl bar either jump in a cab or call K.J. (617-216-7639) for assistance.

Lastly, we'd just like to remind all attendees to keep in mind throughout the day why we are on the crawl... and that's to remember the amazing guy that Ted was and to help raise money for Logan and Faith. So, come ready to share your favorite memories of TBG and throw back a few cool ones in his honor. Cheers!
