We have dabbled with a lengthier schedule over the years and tried adding a new bar to the mix last year, but everyone seems to have the best time at these four bars. In all honesty, it's only fitting since these are the bars that we would go to with Ted in college.
6th ANNUAL TBG PUB CRAWL SCHEDULE | ||
---|---|---|
Time | Location | Address |
12:00 - 1:15 p.m. | The Squealing Pig | 134 Smith St. |
1:30 - 2:30 p.m. | Punter's Pub | 450 Huntington Ave. |
2:45 - 4:15 p.m. | Conor Larkin's | 329 Huntington Ave. |
4:30 - 7:00 p.m. | Our House East | 52 Gainsborough St. |
For those newbies to the crawl, it's good to point out that the food at The Squealing Pig is amazing. A lot of people get lunch there (not included) so they don't start drinking on an empty stomach. The Pig actually opens at 11 a.m., so feel free to arrive a little early if you wish.
After The Pig, we head to Punter's Pub. Affectionately known as the stop where the crawl officially turns the corner, Punter's is proudly one of the countries top dive bars. If The Pig is the stop on the crawl where you eat, then Punter's is where you drink... so be prepared.
The hour at Punter's flies by and then we're off to Conor Larkin's. A little walk down Huntington brings us to Conor's. We are hopeful to have appetizers available, but no direct confirmation on this yet. Conor's also boasts Beer Pong tables... if anyone wants to organize a little 8-team tourney, then let KJ know when you arrive as we currently aren't planning an official tourney like we have done in year's past.
The final and favorite stop of the crawl is Our House East. Kim Cardinal & Mike Lee will provide live entertainment, while the fine folks at Our House will once again donate a solid spread of free food for all to enjoy. There is an event after the crawl that is taking place in the back bar at Our House, so at 7 p.m. we will migrate to the front bar to give the staff time to clean things out.
Please be sure to text KJ (617-216-7639) if you have any troubles finding any of these places on Saturday. We are looking forward to our favorite day of the year to commemorate one of our favorite people of all time, Teddy Ballgame. Keep Calm and Pub Crawl!
